New 2008 HLG Hybrid #5,7,9 metal woods, head design by Louisville Golf & assembled by http://www.golfclubsbydesign.net . The Hybrid #5 metal wood is cut to 41 1/2" length with TrueTemper Release steel step shaft and has Tour Wrap Grip by Golf Pride with 19 degree loft. The Hybrid #7 metal wood is cut to 40 1/2" length with TrueTemper Release steel step shaft and has Tour Wrap Grip by Golf Pride with 21 degree loft. The Hybrid #9 metal wood is cut to 39 1/2" length with TrueTemper Release steel step shaft and has Tour Wrap Grip by Golf Pride with 23 degree loft. The Hybrid metal clubhead design attribute is heel, toe, sole weighting and backweighting effect allowing best chance of straight hits and more solid feel from off-center shots. The relative performance change from long Irons is less chance of digging because of sole width and added bounce.
